Dr Nicholas Smith is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His research focuses on the use of high-performance computer simulations and modelling techniques to determine the structural dynamics of proteins and protein interactions. This research utilises free energy and enhanced sampling biomolecular modelling techniques in addition to X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM to elucidate how protein structure and protein conformation effect function.
