BIO

Raziur Rahman is a joint doctoral researcher at La Trobe University and BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, through the Asian Smart Cities Research and Innovation Network (ASCRIN). His research focuses on adaptive scheduling and resource allocation for IEEE 802.15.4e TSCH and 6TiSCH-based low-power IoT networks. He develops scalable, energy-efficient, and reliable communication mechanisms for dynamic, bursty, and mobility-affected network conditions in smart-city and industrial IoT applications.

His current work spans adaptive slotframe design, topology-aware autonomous scheduling, analytical resource-control policies, multi-hop load balancing, and deterministic IoT networking. He is supervised by Prof. Wei Xiang at La Trobe University and Prof. Nikumani Choudhury at BITS Pilani. His research has appeared at IEEE ICC, IEEE GLOBECOM Workshops, and IEEE ANTS. He is also associated with the LUMEN-X Lab at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
