Rachel Goldlust is a recent PhD graduate in history at Latrobe University studying the environmental values embodied by moving off-grid. With a background in planning, sustainable housing and environmental education, Rachel is interested in ex-urban migration, sustainable lifestyles and design, community and co-operative living systems, gender, labour and domesticity, permaculture, political and social history and environmental thought and action in 20th Century Australia.
