BIO
Ruth is a Research and Teaching Lecturer in the School of Psychology and Public Health. Ruth is involved in the design, coordination, and delivery of several subjects at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in public health, health promotion and evaluation. She has over 15 years’ experience as a health promotion and evaluation practitioner in state and federal government, community health, sport and recreation, and prisons. Ruth recently completed her PhD in Public Health with Monash University focusing on the social and environmental determinants of women's engagement in organised physical activity in Aquatic and Recreation Centre settings.
Currently, her research is focused on enhancing health and wellbeing outcomes for Australian veterans and families.
