BIO

Robyn has worked as an evaluator and researcher in public health-related fields for more than 30 years. She worked at the Centre for Behavioural Research in Cancer (CBRC) at the Cancer Council Victoria from 1991 to 2015, initially with Quit's smoking programs, including extensive survey work in the area of the introduction of smoking bans in public places. More recently her work focused on increasing the uptake of screening programs for cancer control. This involved conducting studies on the best way to word invitation and reminder letters and contributing to the development and evaluation of mass media campaigns. She was also part on a team awarded an NHMRC grant to investigate the uptake of self-sampling for human papillomavirus - the precursor for cervical cancer.
Robyn started working in the Centre for Health Systems Development in 2017 providing research support for Professor Virginia Lewis.
