Dr Sophie Couchman is a curator and professional historian and an Honorary Research Fellow at La Trobe University. She has researched and published in the field of Chinese-Australian history and has been involved in a range of historical activities including developing exhibitions, walking tours, oral histories and online resources. Her latest edited collection, 'Journeys into Chinese Australian Family History', was shortlisted for the 2020 Victorian Local History Awards.
