Song Wang received the B.Eng. (Electrical Engineering) from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China and Ph.D. (Control Theory) from University of Melbourne, Australia. She worked as a design engineer at NEC Australia in 2000-2004. Since January 2005 she has been an academic staff member with the Department of Engineering, La Trobe University. She has taught subjects in areas of control systems, signal processing and telecommunication networks. Her research interest lies in biometric security.
