BIO

Tim Cronin (he/him) is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Counselling, and Therapy at La Trobe University, and holds roles as a Senior Research Psychologist at Murdoch Children's Research Institute and Senior Clinical Psychologist at Royal Children's Hospital. Tim's research interests include: LGBTIQA+ mental health and well-being, determinants of mental health (e.g., minority stress) for marginalised communities, and the development and evaluation of mental health interventions targeted to the needs of specific communities, such as trans and gender diverse populations. Tim has a background in teaching postgraduate psychology trainees, including in ethics and professional practice, interpersonal process skills, and inclusive practice (e.g., cultural humility, LGBTIQA+ affirming approaches), as well as supervising student research projects.
