Truly Almendo Pasaribu has been a teacher educator in Indonesian and Australian teacher education programs since 2013. She received her PhD on Ethical Discourses in Technology-Mediated Assessment from Monash University in 2025. She has consistently published and disseminated her research focusing on the intersection of English language teaching and educational technology and how this shapes curriculum design in teacher education. Her research on innovative, ethical and reflective teaching practices is driven towards understanding how pre-service teachers learn as students and how they teach as teachers to improve the quality of teaching and learning. She has managed internally and externally funded research and development projects aligned with her expertise in teacher education since 2017.
