Teagen Treacher is a proud Aboriginal woman with a professional background in clinical nursing, midwifery, maternal and child health, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health education. Teagen has been a leader in the implementation and evaluation of community-based culturally tailored maternal and child health programs to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, and has expertise in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nursing and midwifery curriculum development and delivery, student mentoring and support.
