My research interests focus on health literacy, equitable healthcare access, and community-based health research that supports vulnerable and ageing populations. I am particularly interested in understanding the health needs and care experiences of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and developing culturally inclusive approaches to improve health outcomes and quality of life. My research experience includes mixed methods research, cross-sectional and longitudinal study designs, and qualitative approaches such as interviews and community engagement. I also have experience in translating research findings and health education materials into non-English languages to enhance accessibility and culturally responsive healthcare communication. My previous work explored dementia care and education, while my current research examines the experiences of informal carers, support workers, and service providers in accessing and delivering respite care in Australia.
